Announcements:
Thursday at 12:45, 8th grade students will be going to the Center for the Arts to spend an afternoon with Abraham Lincoln, our 16th president -- well, not really, but by all accounts he's a darn good impersonator! Students continue to present Civil War battle models and presentations.
We briefly meet in our Lit Circles, get an overall process briefing and our role assignments due tomorrow, May 5th. Each novel has different readings, assignments (due each Tuesday) and facilitators. Please ask your facilitator if you are unsure of your reading pages or tasks!

First day, Civil War lit circle student-led discussions: Be prepared with your completed role-assignments:)
Wednesday: This is mid-4th quarter
Final student presentations on Civil War battles
We then develop questions for President Lincoln, who is visiting tomorrow!!
