Agenda:
Monday:
Students finish reading slave narratives, and begin creating their visual teaching-aids with which they will display to the groups who did not read their narrative.
HW: Posters need to be ready for Tomorrow's "gallery walk" activity. Group members may need to send them home with a group member, or finish after class.
Tuesday:
Students will teach each other about their particular slave narrative using the visual display they created. These will be evaluated bases on the criteria set out at the start of this project. The goal is to have students teaching students.
HW: Pre-Vocab for tomorrow's Witch Trials reading. Please define the words by using them in your own sentences. Due tomorrow at the start of class.
Wednesday:
HW - Vocabulary sentences due at the start of class.
We will begin to examine the Salem Witch Trials by looking at conditions in Europe that affected the early Colonies and comparing to conditions in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Thursday:
Primary Source Analysis: SIGHT examination of colonial images.
Primary Source Reading: Excerpts from the Salem Witch Trials.
Friday:
Current Event - Student News Notes and Quiz
Quiz - Vocabulary related to Salem Witch Trials readings.
