Announcements:
* School-Wide Election for federal offices will be held on Monday. Results will be announced Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.
* Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Wed. and Thurs. this week from 3-7pm both days. To allow access for all parents and guardians, meetings are limited to 15 minute spots and sign-up will ensure that parents will be able to meet at the time of their choosing! Students encouraged to attend:) Please call or e-mail for a time. HB teachers sent home a conference sign-up form last week.
*General Elections are on Tuesday - Please ask your kids, or share with your parents what you have been learning in class during the last weeks.

Student Play: Trials in Colonial Massachusetts
Wednesday:
Project Introduction: Students receive instructions and expectations for drafting their own colonial student plays, using the 5 plays we have read in class as examples of form.
Students begin limited research, assign jobs within groups and begin to draft their mini-plays.
Parent Conferences 3-7pm
Thursday: Today, students will be drafting their mini-plays, using historical resources and documenting them using MLA format.
