MLK Week

*We will be having a Civil Rights protester and attendee of the March on Washington as a guest speaker early in February!  
1. Due to shortened class times and low attendance on Friday, we will be starting our close read of selections from articles I-III of the Constitution.

2. Students will have an opportunity to practice their use of three branches of government information in a review game and a congressional simulation.
1. Amendments! We’ll begin our look at the 27 changes to our Constitution with the Bill of Rights. Why did our founders feel the need to add to the Constitution so soon after its ratification? Which Amendments are most present today?
