 1. Supreme Court 101 –
We’ll begin an Upfront Magazine special report on the High Court’s workings and recent changes. We’ll also learn a bit about each of the current Justices. (This will be continued tomorrow).

2. Review for Amendment Quiz: We’ll take a final look at amendments through scenarios, playing a fun review game as we go.

1. Quiz – Amendments to the US Constitution:
Students will need to be able to I.D. the Bill of Rights, the Reconstruction Amendments plus the 19th and the 26th. The quiz is an application of the scenarios we have been studying in class.

2. Supreme Court 101 – Part II. (See Monday)

 1. Landmark Supreme Court Decisions! This is a two-day simulation. Students will read the scenarios and evidence of several modern Supreme Court cases. Student Justices will then make and write a brief court decision before learning how the High Court actually decided.

Guest Expert:  Gary Trauner will be sharing his experiences on running for the lone Wyoming House seat. What does this process really involve?  How can students prepare for participation in our Democracy?
