Content:

In class, students will be drafting written and visual portions of their Invent and Invest projects as well as learning the effects that major technological inventions have had on US culture and society. We will be reading and seeing short video clips regarding the impact that the automobile had on History. Students will be encouraged to identify a societal need or problem and design an invention that resolves the problem. They will present their written and visual display to the class. Peers will choose to invest in products they consider useful and viable. Each class will have a winner who receives the most "investment" money from classmates. Winners will receive movie passes!
