Geography Quest. (Quiz Next Tuesday).
2. Ben Franklin:
Renaissance Revolutionary – Students will conduct quick research and
present information tomorrow to classmates on the many sides of this founding
father.

1. Student groups present their findings on Ben Franklin’s
role as scientist, postmaster, fire chief, author, printer and founding
father.
|
1. Students will
share their HW interpretations of Franklin’s axioms. What do they tell us
about the Colonial mindset? Do any hold true today?
2. 13 Colonies Geography practice and team competitions.

1. Transatlantic Slave Trade maps and demographics.
2. Stories of the
Slaves: Students will read one of three slave accounts that differ in
many ways, yet hold important common themes. Students will annotate in
composition notebooks then share and compare with peers in small groups.

1. Primary images
and documents of the Slave Trade: We’ll examine various images and documents
using the SIGH analysis method. Students will be moving between stations
accessing and analyzing the various sources.

idioms. Use provided sheet to read into some of the rich sayings found in Poor Richard’s Almanac.
